Do I have a great husband, or what? Craig suprised me this past weekend with a trip to San Diego! We flew out on Friday evening, and came home Monday morning. It was WONDERFUL. It is just so nice to get away from Tucson for a weekend. The weather was perfect and we had so much fun. On Saturday we went to Sea World and battled the crowds of screaming kids and parents (making us wonder if we made the right decision to have kids!). Ultimately, it was fun. The Shamu show was well worth the trip, and the dolphins were pretty cool, too. That evening we got to go see the Cardinals play (I mean "beat") the Padres. Craig got us great seats amongst the hundreds of other Cards fans there, right by third base. On Sunday we slept in and hung out at the oceanfront in La Jolla for the day. It was very nice.
By now I'm feeling the baby move alot, which is totally cool. I'm also growing pretty fast. I'm starting to not fit in my regular clothes (even with rubberband modifications!) anymore, so I'm having to buy maternity clothes (which I'm not quite big enough for yet). I guess I'm at an in between stage. But with the rate that I'm growing, it shouldn't be long until I really fit into those maternity clothes. People are also starting to recognize my belly as being pregnant (not just a beer gut!), which is nice.
Craig and I are looking forward to our trip to St. Louis next month for Heather and Greg's wedding. We can't wait to see everyone!

It's a girl!
Yesterday we had our 18 week ultrasound, and we found out we're having a baby girl!!! The ultrasound lady said she was 99.9% sure it is a girl. We were so awestruck to see our little one on the screen so clearly! The tech went through all the systems and showed us all the baby's developing organs...brain, heart, lungs, diaphragm, stomach, kidneys, and bladder. Everything appears to be developing normally. It was so cute to see the baby moving, and to see her hands and legs so clearly! Pretty soon we'll start getting the baby room decorated!
